Memorial Tablet Unveiled |
On Saturday evening, April 27, the Rector, the Rev. F. W. Bennitt, held a short dedication service in the belfry of the tower at St. Mary's Church, Bletchley, when he unveiled a memorial tablet placed in the walls of the tower to the memory of Private Lawrence Meager, killed in action in France in September last son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Meager, Bletchley, and for 20 years a member of the St. Mary's Band of Church Bell Ringers. |
